thumb Henry Ritter (1816–1853) was a Canadian genre painter, associated with the Düsseldorf school of painting. ==Biography== He was born at Montreal. He studied under Gröger in Hamburg and under Karl Ferdinand Sohn at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
